Hello everyone!
This is an invitation for you to share your big boat or cruising skills with the young folks in HYC’s Youth Sailing Program. As you may know, the sailing program primarily centers on making 420’s move fast, but we also want to introduce cruising skills to these young sailors.
On June 30, July 14 and 28 and August 11, members will be working with the young sailors on topics ranging from rowing to celestial navigation. Just think of all the varied tasks that you do while cruising!
The sessions start at 8:30am and 12:30pm and you can sign up for several sessions. These are not lectures, but hands-on “here’s how we do it” sessions.
