Come down early and watch the boats come in and share some (bring your own) appetizers with your friends. Low key is the goal as we wait for the racers to arrive and then eat somewhat together.
The grill masters are geared up and watching for the racers so they have some hot burgers and dogs waiting for them. This means we may not eat right at 6 pm, but that’s the plan! If someone would like an early burger, not a problem, just ask a grill person.
Set up is minimal with a few tables and chairs. The host work (6 hr credit) is mostly in shopping for the burger/hot dog bar ahead and grilling. We lean heavily on mixed variety of salads and a few desserts to round out the evening.
