    We are VERY excited to launch registration for the 2026 Youth Sailing Program Season. We are using CampDoc for a third season and hope it will streamline your registration experience!

    Registration GOES LIVE for returning YSP participants in early December 2025.

    REGISTRATION OPENS TO NEW PARTICIPANTS IN mid December 2o25. PLEASE BE  AWARE THAT SOME CLASSES FILL VERY QUICKLY.

    WE WILL RESPOND TO INQUIRIES as quickly as we can – and ask your patience as we register your sailor(s)!

    You will need to login to CampDoc.

    Previous participants will receive priority registration. When prompted WITH “Enter Early Registration Code.” Enter the code you received in the email from HYC and/or CampDocs.

    Sailors registering for multiple sessions are eligible for a multisession discount coupon. Please use “coupon” MULTISESSION2026 for each session for which you are registering. PLEASE NOTE, THE CODE IS SINGULAR AND ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. YOU MUST TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS DISCOUNT BEFORE MAKING YOUR FINAL PAYMENT.

    We will  be using CampDocs again this year for registration. If you do not have an account, you will need to create a new account. CampDocs provides an option to add insurance to your order; we recommend reviewing the YSP policy before deciding what works best for your family.

    Please add yourself to a waitlist if you don’t get the program you want – we might be able to move people in depending on cancellations, changes, and instructors.


    Junior Yacht Club Membership:

    All participants in the HYC Youth Sailing Program will be classified as Junior Yacht Club Members, whether their family holds a membership or not. JYC Members will be required to follow all Club Policies while on premises. Part of your participation fees cover this special classification of membership for summer youth sailors.


    Registration Policies:

    Please use our online registration system to complete all sailor information and final payments NO LATER than  April 1, 2026.

    In accordance with state law, sailors will not be allowed to attend the sailing program until they completed the health profile, liability waiver, and emergency contacts and families have uploaded them to their registration profile. We require 100% health profile completion by April 1st, including information about allergies, medications, behavior or injury limitations, etc. Parents/guardians are responsible for reviewing and updating this information on an annual basis.

    We reserve the right to move your sailor to the waitlist if your payments or documents are incomplete by the April 1, 2026 deadline.


    SESSION DATES:

    Session 1: June 22 – July 3

    Session 2: July 6 – July 17

    Session 3: July 20 – July 31

    Session 4: August 3 – August 14


     PAYMENT POLICY:

    To ensure that HYC can offer our sailing experience to as many young sailors as possible, we employ a strict registration and payment process. To register, HYC requires an initial payment of $200.00 per session, $75.00 of which is non-refundable. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis. As spaces fill quickly, we recommend that you register early. Final payment of the total balance of tuition is due April 1st. No child may participate in class, unless all fees are paid in full.

    Any sailor enrolling after April 1st must pay all fees in full at the time of registration.

    If a session is full, registrants can opt for a place on the wait list. Payment will be due as space becomes available.

    Late payments (after April 1st) may result in moving your registrant to the waitlist.


    REFUND POLICY:

    A 100% refund, less $75.00 per session, will be granted for those requesting a cancellation by April 15th.

    A 50% refund, less $ 75.00 per session, will be granted for those requesting a cancellation between April 16th and May 15th.

    A 50% refund, less $ 75.00 per session, will be granted after May 15th, ONLY if we can fill a spot from the waitlist. 

    No refund will be granted to any sailor who, after fair warning, is dismissed because of behavioral misconduct or violation of safety requirements. 

    HYC will consider exceptions to the above policies for exceptional and extenuating circumstances, on a case-by-case basis.


    Adjustments/Cancellations:

    Additions: We recognize that summer schedules change and sailors sometimes wish to add additional weeks once they have experienced the program. YSP does our best to accommodate these changes on a first-come/first-serve basis. Please note that we do have a wait list for many weeks of the program so we cannot always accommodate additional weeks.

    Transfers: Families may be able to transfer their sailor(s) to another available session at no cost prior to June 1st, depending on availability.
